Settings: company details, the logo on reports, notifications and privacy

Where to enter company details, how to upload the logo for PDF reports and the client form, how notifications work and what the assistant log switch does.

You open Settings from the side menu ("Settings") or from the account menu in the top-right corner. The tab strip has three entries: "Profile", "Notifications" and "Plan and billing" (the last one leads to the billing page). The "Profile" tab also holds the "Privacy", "Who these calculations are for" and "Language" sections. This is where you enter what goes on reports and forms, decide which emails you want, and set the app language.

Profile: company details on reports and forms

The "Profile" section has five fields: first name, last name, company name, phone and website. All are optional, but worth filling in right away, because they appear in two places:

  • on the title page of every PDF report - from the heat load calculation, pump sizing, underfloor heating and ventilation,
  • in the header of the form you send clients, and in the invitation email to the form ("From: your company").

Changes are saved with "Save" and confirmed with "Profile saved". The new details cover reports generated from then on - PDFs downloaded earlier stay unchanged.

The Start page reminds you of gaps under "Tasks" ("Company details", "Logo on the PDF") and shows a "Your brand" card with the current logo and name.

You upload the logo under "Profile" with "Add logo" (or "Change logo" when one already exists). Allowed formats are PNG, JPG and WEBP, and the maximum file size is 10 MB. After picking the file the "Company logo" editor opens:

  • you move the crop with the mouse or the arrow keys, and resize it with the handles or Shift with the arrows,
  • "Rotate left" and "Rotate right" turn the image by 90 degrees,
  • "Reset" undoes cropping and rotation,
  • "Apply" saves the logo; "Remove logo" deletes it.

The logo goes on the cover of every PDF report and into the header of the client form. It is available to every account, including free ones - it is not a paid feature. If the editor cannot load the file ("This logo could not be loaded"), pick another file; saving the logo as PNG usually helps.

Notifications

The "Notifications" section has two parts: categories and channels.

Message categories:

  • "App news" - announcements about new features and changes,
  • "Client forms" - a notification when a client fills in a form,
  • "Account and access" - important messages about the account; this category is always on,
  • "Project reminders" - an email when a project is waiting to be finished, or has a result and no report.

Channels: almost everything lands in the bell in the app - that is your inbox in HeatAlgo and it cannot be switched off. A pop-up appears for some messages only, and the sender decides. Email you can switch off separately for each category. Project reminders are the exception: we send those by email only, so switching that one off stops them completely. Every switch change saves itself ("Change saved").

The bell in the top bar opens the "Notifications" inbox. You can mark all as read, clear all or delete single entries; messages with a link have a "Read more" button. Announcements about news are also on the Start page under "What's new", and the full changelog is on the "What's new" page in the account menu.

Privacy: the assistant's technical logs

Under "Privacy" there is the switch "Keep technical logs of the assistant". When it is on, we keep the content of requests sent to the AI model and the model's reasoning summary, so we can investigate an error you report. Turning it off stops future logging; it does not delete what we kept earlier - to have earlier data removed, contact us at the address in the Privacy Policy. The assistant itself works regardless of this setting. More on what Algo sees and stores in Algo, the AI assistant.

Who these calculations are for

A short question with four answers: "I work on my own", "I run an installation company", "For my own home", "Something else". It helps us decide what to build next. Nothing depends on the answer - the offer is the same, and you can change the answer at any time or skip it.

Language

The "Language" section switches the app between Polish and English. The change covers the interface, notifications and the PDF reports you generate. The same switch is in the account menu. The client form has a separate language switch on the client's side.

What is not in Settings

In Settings you cannot change the password or the email address, and you cannot delete the account - how to do those is in account, sign-in and password. The plan, credits, subscription and invoices are on the separate "Billing" page (account menu, "Plan and billing").

Frequently asked questions

Where do I enter company details so they appear on the report?

In Settings ("Settings" in the side menu), section "Profile": first name, last name, company name, phone and website. These details go on the title page of PDF reports and into the header of the form you send clients. Saving is confirmed with "Profile saved".

How do I add a company logo to PDF reports?

In Settings under "Profile" click "Add logo" and pick a PNG, JPG or WEBP file up to 10 MB. In the editor you crop and rotate the logo, then confirm with "Apply". The logo appears on the cover of every report and in the header of the client form - on a free account too.

How do I switch off emails from HeatAlgo?

In Settings under "Notifications" switch off email for the chosen category: "App news", "Client forms" or "Project reminders". The "Account and access" category is always on. In-app notifications (the bell) always work - that is your inbox in HeatAlgo.

What does the "Keep technical logs of the assistant" switch do?

When on, it lets us keep the content of requests sent to the AI model and the model's reasoning summary, so we can investigate an error you report. Turning it off stops future logging but does not delete what we kept earlier - to have earlier data removed, contact us at the address in the Privacy Policy.

What is the question "Who these calculations are for" for?

It helps us decide what to build next. Nothing depends on the answer - you see the same offer, and you can change the answer at any time or skip it.
