From floor plan to an underfloor heating layout - the full run with Algo AI
Three minutes of the whole run: the floor plan uploaded, sections proposed by Algo AI, the geometry checked, heat loads calculated beforehand, the design parameters, the manifold and the connected loops. It ends with the report and the scaled plan.
About this recording
- The house in the recording is a demo one, and its room heat loads were calculated beforehand in the heat load module.
- At one point the recording returns to a saved AI draft, and repeated loop-connection work is shortened - this is an edit, not real time.
- The hall is excluded from the heating sections and needs a separate design decision.
- The narration and the music are AI-generated. Subtitles: English and nine other languages.
What the AI does,and what stays with you.
The recording shows one run, not a promise of a finished installation. The split of responsibility is the same one the app works to.
- The AI proposes sections from the plan
Once the scale is calibrated, the model reads the plan and draws sections with a pipe layout. It is a proposal - you tick or drop each section, and you correct the outlines on the drawing.
- The algorithm calculates, not the model
Heat loss is calculated by the heat load module to EN 12831-1, and loop output by the underfloor heating module to EN 1264. Algo AI never calculates either - the same engine that writes the report does.
- The manifold and the tails are yours
The AI does not place the manifold and does not route the tails. In the recording a person does that with the Manifold and Route tools, exactly as you would in your own project.
- A drawing is not a sign-off
The finished layout and the report are material for a conversation with your installer, not confirmation that the design is ready to install. The execution decisions stay with the designer and the installer.
